my cousin did this when his brother blow a hole in his b18c1 block. he swaped out the b18c1 cams over to his b16. from what i can remember, he could feel a slight difference. had a little bit more toruqe in the low and mid, but the top felt the same. never had a chance to dyno it, so i can't give you numbers. so, it'll be fine.

no the b18c1 gsr cams are slightly more agressive then the b16a cams so there is an increase. all vtec b18 cams are more agressive then the b16a cams.

If I remember correctly, I sold my jdm GSR cams and valvetrain for either $100 or $150.

I don't see the point in going through all that for a marginal increase. I would go with skunk2 stage 1's or type r cams...

I'm pretty sure we're talking like 3hp or something like that. You only get like 5hp out of skunk2 cams without a tune and right around ten with a tune, with the stage 1's that is.

Gsr cams only worth around $50.00 today on the used market, don't pay anymore than that. But typeR cams is much better for both N/A and boost, They sell for around $150.00 to $350.00 use, do not pay to much for them because you can get Skunk2 for a little more and more aggressive with warranty...and better performance all around...

Good luck....

jdm motors naturally have aggressive cams.
