This guy posted a hood bra for an EK civic. I bought it from him and when I got it, the bra he sent was for a 2001-2005 civic. Not what I paid for... now I want my money back and this guy is ducking me.

I text him a couple times and posted in the original F/S thread about getting my money back... he argued with me via text and the last I heard from him was a text that just said "ok".

The paypal email he gave me was xxbeexx17@hotmail.com. He said it was his wifes paypal and that came up as owned by a Brittany Turner... then the box came with the bra and had a different last name.

Please bump both threads until this issue is resolved. I just want my money back. A dispute has been filed with paypal and will be escalated to a claim if there is no positive response in the next 48 hours.

just some insight, i say you take screen shots of his thread while its still up and unedited. then if/when paypal asks for pictures, it'll be easier to make a final decision. he will then lose the dispute and you will need to ship it back before he can give you a refund. by shipping it back, make sure you get a tracking number and post it onto paypal so paypal can see that it was shipped and delivered. he doesnt have to refund you...but paypal can automatically take the funds from him as long as his account is still open.

 

Thanks for the advice. I took some screenshots yesterday and already have them uploaded to my photobucket account. I also have screenshots of our text conversation with his phone number at the top. All he has to do is give me a refund and he can sell the bra to somebody else.
RESPOND VIA TEXT, EMAIL, PAYPAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION, PM, OR EVEN POST UP HERE OR ON YOUR FS THREAD. STOP BEING A DOUCHEBAG.

It's so hard to trust people unless they're a regular in here. I don't know why you even bought it when he only had 62 posts so far. I'm not hatin, but just sayin. I got scammed in here back in 2006. I then looked up the list of scammers on here, and his name was on the list. So now, I just usually buy parts locally or somewhere online.

but like i said...when they tell you to ship it back, make sure you ship it with a tracking number that way it shows that its delivered to the guy and you dont get scammed outta the bra AND money. good luck. hit me up if you have questions about paypal...chances are i've had a similar situation happen.

 

Yeah, but look- I only have 135 posts, and I'm a perfectly trustworthy person. I've got a few vouches already and plan on having many more. I guess it all comes down to the fact that some people are just asswipes.

 

i only have 67 and have sold many things and bought many things. i provide links to other forums/ my ebay account to show proof. since i dont have a vouche thread on here, along with a list of ppl that have dealt with my on this forum. so you cant always go by post count.

yeah true... its not a defenate thing but people with low amouts of post havent been around that long or could have multiple accounts (tell tell sign of scammers)

 

I'm not trying to say that low post counts mean you're a scammer. Unless you have a few people who can vouch for you, I would be cautious. Having people vouch for you is pretty big.

And yeah, the $100 was a little steep, but I found a minty fresh bumper bra on the cheap from a kid down in houston and didn't need the whole set. I just didn't want to have to look for one anymore. I get tired of waiting on parts. Lol.
