Password:jdm scam
Hello all. I am not sure if this is the appropriate place to be posting this, but feel that some people should made aware of what just happened to me on a recent purchase at PASSWORD:JDM. Long story trying to be condensed a little for ease of reading. I purchased a 2006 RSX-S recently and the car came with tow separate sets of Winjet fog lights new in box, and uninstalled. I decided since I had them, I would attempt to install a couple weekends ago. I started the install and found out quickly that these were very cheap ebay kits, that would not even mount to the bumper correctly without modification of the brackets etc. Once finding this out and already certain that I wanted the kit, I decided that I would spend a little extra money for a quality kit that would be a plug and play affair. I have worked with PASSWORD:JDM in the past and decided to get the kit off their website. They claimed their kit was a "PASSWORD:JDM exclusive", along with OEM fit and quality guaranteed. A week later after I ordered the kit from PJDM, the package got to my door. I was very very angry and highly disappointed to find out the kit PJDM sent to me was literally a reboxed $40 Winjet kit off of Ebay. I am not exaggerating either. It was the same lights, brackets, wiring, and even instructions. I emailed their customer service team to find I was working with an individual who was very lacking in concern and was hard to work with. They claimed they were not trying to decive their customers, even though I pointed out this was deceit and false advertising on a definitional level. They agreed to refund me, and accept the return, but are forcing me to pay return shipping. I replied saying I was not okay with this, and felt like I should not losing money over this, but they will not budge. Again, I just feel like I should share my experience and feel that PJDM is ripping people off by selling a $30 kit for $130 and advertising it is a product of theirs

yeah their customer service department that handles warranty issues are all idiots, and saying that they are not interested is being very kind . They once sent me a carbon fibre center console for my S2000 that was used, and tried to pawn it off as a new unused part. Their rotors are nothing special and off shore junk, yet they try to convince you otherwise. I don't care for them at all. Scammers is a good way to describe them.

I thought they'd of gone out of business a long time ago. They were cool like 15 years ago when they had cool imported JDM stuff they just sell their own marked up junk now

If you want some cheap decent quality 06 RSX oem replica fogs, try some Spec-D tuning, they are off ebay too. There products normally fit decently for the price.

Been awhile since I've purchased from PWJDM, but all I've ever gotten from them were little knick knacks like radiator stays or solenoid covers, caps, bushings...
Disappointing to see any company so blatantly lying about selling off shitty parts under their own name. Shows a severe lack of both honesty and pride in their own name.

I purchased from Password JDM's website a 3 point strut bar for my EK a few months ago, and it didn't come with any PWJDM branding at all. Not even a sticker. Disappointed. Now seeing this, fairly sure the 3 point strut bar was just re-boxed generic. No more PWJDM.

I'm sure it's the same one found on eBay for $60. I've never ordered from them. Their whack high prices have always steered me away anyways...
