I'll get the money back. I will either:

1. Get a refund issued by Fab-Worx
2. Get a refund issued by Bank should fab-worx not give me one
3. File fraud/theft charges if the above 2 don't happen
4. Goto Deerfield Beach Florida during my trip to Florida next spring and personally handle it.

I think this posting on every forum that I am registered to is public embarassment enough.

11/30/10: Today I along with my gf, both received emails with snide remarks from Fab-Worx. They had the ***** to ask me why I havent sent them a tracking number for the manifold I sent back to them. Well for starters, I didnt know I had to, and secondly they couldn't send me one, so I find it funny they would be questioning me. They also made a comment about how its taken a week to get there, but shipping time is only 2 days from Florida. Well lets see, there was a thing called Thanksgiving and I dont control FedEx so I have no power on how quick it gets there. Checked the tracking number today and guess what? Its on the truck for delievery to them!

I emailed them back stating that snide remarks were not needed and that the manifold would be there today and I expect a refund quickly. Oh yeah they also stated that the flanges for the manifolds were drilled wrong by the company making them, I stated that regardless of who was at fault it was the lack of customer service that pissed me off the most.

Fedex attempted delivery at 3:34 today, guess what? The shop was closed, funny thing is I received an email from them at 2:44 today, so in less than an hour they closed up shop. I am going to my bank tomorrow to get a dispute started since I have shipped it back and it looks like they are refusing to take it back. I am not paying to ship it twice.

Sorry guys my computers mother board crashed on me, just got a new one earlier this evening. I do have updates.

The manifold was finally delivered and signed for by Tony. He sent me an email stating that he knows that the manifold did not fit, due to "an issue with company that made the flanges". The manifold was delivered on a Thursday, I was told I would get a refund issued Friday. That never happened. Monday it was supposedly processed by his Merchant company and was told it would take 2-3 business days to show up in my bank account. Thursday Dec. 9th it wasn't there, decided id give it 1 more day, the next day woke up and guess what, still no refund. So I went to my bank and filed another damn dispute. They gave me a provisional credit incase the money never shows up.

I told Tony I would take my threads down once a refund was issued, but after thinking about it long and hard I said **** it. Im leaving them up, he was less then helpful aside from when I first purchased the parts from him. So I feel justified by leaving these up. Hopefully potential customers read this and think twice about spending their money with them.

That sucks and to think I know at least 1 person running their K turbo manifold with no issues and recommending them to others, I think I'll stick to Full-Race, AFI or TD Autowerks. Hope you get your money back.

There has to be someone on one of your forums that lives close to him... someone can pay him a visit.

Yeah such a cool legit guy that he has yet to refund the money according to my bank which I was just at. Such a cool guy that he could not produce a ****ing downpipe, after several lies. Such a cool guy that he sent me a manifold that didn't even ****ing fit, yeah real cool guy. I won't even get started on his business skills or lack there of. I dont know any shops that make you state your name before they will even answer the phone, yet that is how they run their business. Makes it easy to avoid people you are ****ing over.

I hate to get involved in this but i feel that all these shops are just bringing it down for the rest so i will voice an opinion so we can weed out the bad from good.

From my experiences these guys keep changing their business name every year or so and from my knowldge its been like 3 or 4 different ones that i can remember which kinda says something.... Tigre Tuning, Southside Performance, Southwest Salvage, now Fab-Worx.....

You sir are correct. After this whole ordeal I discovered a ton of stuff about them, such as them changing their name several times. I also learned that I am not the only one to get them mistaken with the other FabWorx (the one in South Carolina). I know Tony is reading this thread, he made mention of me "trash talking his shop" to my gf in an email, funny thing is I haven't heard a thing from him since he supposedly issued a refund. Shady shops and people in general give the Honda community a bad image, so I agree they need to be weeded out. The saddest thing is, most forums won't let you voice your opinion because the crooks are usually sponsors and pay the site money. Luckily this section has been made to help put bad companies out on front street.

this is one of the reasons I will most likely never buy a quality manifold. if anything it will be a piece of **** ebay one that was pre made in wing wong china but hey at least ill get it. or if I do want a nice manifold Ill build my own. seems like every time I turn around a new shop is now a ****in scam artist.

My bank still hasn't been refunded...they said it could take 90 days. I am going to call the woman in charge of this case tomorrow and see whats going on. I got my money back from the bank as a credit, but they could take it back should they for some reason decide ***-worx wasn't at fault. I spoke with a lady that works at my bank today and she said there is no chance in hell that they win though, so its just a waiting thing

Did you ever talk to Tony and find out why it wasn't credited to your bank?
Did it leave his merchant account?

Email communication is always more difficult then just picking up the phone to call a vendor.

I know him personally

He also is the type of person that takes credit for other peoples work.
I have personally called up referencing the titanium job which they had no part of, but they still took credit for. Luckily i got in contact with an individual that knew the REAL Fabworx in S.C. personally.
Now would you want that type of person building your sh!#...

Did you not read any of the post? Dude screens his ****ing phone calls and won't answer even if I did call him. It doesn't take over a month for a refund to batch out, trust me. He never issued a refund just like he never sent my ****ing downpipe. Dudes a joke and runs a jank *** operation. Sorry if he's your buddy, maybe you should get some new friends.
