WTB P2J ecu JDM 3 stage vtec ecu OBD 2
#4
Re: (aj99si)
I'm using a chipped p28 with both solenoids tied to a4(?), the vtec wire. Vtec set at 4400, d16z6 map, far from optimal but it works. You could also buy an (msd) rpm activated switch from (summit), and use this for one of the solenoids, and tune with a wideband for 15-20:1(lean) between 0-3000rpm. This is as close as I can think of without finding the rare p2j jdm ecu. I guess it's also possible to convert a p28 to a p72 (adding butterflies), and you can use this wire as a programmable switch to activate the other solenoid, possibly w/ a relay. I'm not exactly sure on the components needed to add to the board (see pgmfi.org).
Don't mean to write you a letter when you wanted an ecu, but I'm in the same situation and I think it would be great 45-50+ mpg and all the power. Good luck.
