The guy there named Jerome is weird as ****. For some reason he has emailed me on numerious occasions (have no clue on where he got my screen name) trying to see if I had certain parts for sale. I was thinking about buying a motor from him and everything just sounded fishy. Also I sent him an email about a part and about a week later he calls my house (yes I included my phone number) at about 3:30 4 in the morning. I was like what the ****??? No matter where u are in the United States it is either very early or very late. I just thaught it was weird as **** and I personaly will never do any business with him. I have herd on numerous occasions about ripping people off, selling stolen engines and the FBI and yanking them from the people he just sold them too.
i second that Jerome,is good, i order a couple things from him, and he was even willing to answer questions i had about my car before i even ordered stuff.

jerome is a good guy... but there were conflicting stories about the stolen parts... some say the Police had investigated him by selling him stolen parts.. and in return he would sell them off.. though he should of checking the legalality of the parts he purchased he did not and the police tried to actually Trap him in the sense.. in the same story the guy they used to sale stuff to Jerome.. was a thief who was busted but had worked out a Agreement with the PD about how he knew a guy(jerome) who buys and sells stolen engine and car parts.. thus jerome was screwed over and all hell broke loss..(well this is what I heard....anyone have any actual facts hehe =P )

I bought an ECU from them. Great price on a hard to find ecu and i got it promptly with no problems. They called to verify my correct ecu and called to tell me it was shipped. Very prompt email response too. Good experience on my part
I bought a EG ECU and alternator from him a year ago. He sent me a wrong ECU, but he was willing to get me the right one within days. But somehow, he wasn't willing to send me a UPS return ticket for me to ship his ECU back. Instead, he said he could only give me credit for the shipping, which I still have not use.

Hello. I would just like to clarify a few things. From my email records for 2002, you sent us an email asking for help on wiring an IAC. Here is your email:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am putting a 98 B18B into my 96 civic dx hb and I am having trouble wiring up the IAC. I figured that u have been doing this for a while so u might have an idea of what I have to do. I am using the stock civic harness and there is 3 wires which I am told that I have to turn into 2 wires. The stock civc harness has a blaaack wire, yellow wire and orange wire. The integra harness has a green wire and a white/yellow wire...I was wondering if u caould tell me what wires I put together. Any insight would be appreciative.

We then responded and tried to help you as best we could. I don't specifically have a record of when you asked about buying a motor, but why would you say everything sounded fishy? Please clarify. Did you call or send an email? We have an email department so if there is something that you didn't like about an email we sent you, I would like to hear about it so I can discuss it with the email department to make sure it doesn't happen again.
As for the emails, if you had classified ads posted on the internet, I sometimes buy parts and would have replied to your ad. That is how we would have gotten your email address or "screen name." We don't just randomly email people for parts. If you place an ad, you will get responses. Simple as that. Furthermore, you have also emailed us several times trying to sell us parts or asking questions. So that is another way we could have obtained your email. We didn't just go looking for somebody to email.
Now, about calling you at 3:30 am. I don't specifically recall that, but if I did, that was certainly not intentional. The only reason I can think of is that sometimes I check voice messages late at night and if a message sounds urgent, I sometimes return the call immediately. I had no idea it was an east coast number and probably thought you had just left the message about 1 hour ago. It was around midnight pacific time. I've actually had people leave messages at around midnight and were thankful that I returned their call in a timely manner, but nevertheless, I should have verified the time of the message and your time zone. So even though I don't remember all the details, please accept my sincerest apologies.
As for you "hearing" about people getting ripped off, please email me at info@sohfast.com with specifics because those are some serious accusations you're making without anything to back it up except that you "heard" it happened. I will be happy to clarify anything for you. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Sincerely,
J.
