This is your second thread in like a week calling a seller a scammer - there is a change you might not be communicating well with these people? V12eater is on a local board that me and the guys I hang out with run (ef-honda.com) and nobody is having any problems with him there. Just a thought, but, be very clear in what you expect to receive when you make a purchase on here and ask lots of wuestions. Patience always helps the situation. Again, good luck.
Mix-ups are pretty easy. I bought some Si seats and a Kenwood headunit from a guy (in person), and the agreed deal was $225 total. Before I left the house to meet him, I made sure I only had $240 in my wallet...to keep me from spending any more money. I got there, and we set the deal at $225. I didn't have any 5's, so I gave him $230 instead, and just told him to keep the change. A week later, he e-mails me saying I ripped him off by $15. He then e-mailed me ANOTHER week later saying it was $25 that he was missing. My reaction was basically "you're completely full of it. I counted it out, and handed it to you in person, in two stacks. You didn't seem to have a problem when we made the deal", and told him I wasn't about to pay him money that was already his. No reply from him since.
Some people just try to get the better of you...beware.

but what goes around comes around
I e-mailed this dude back the first time (he's in high school, BTW...), and said "if there's a problem I'll do my best to fix it...", but then I thought more on the subject. If I counted in front of him, and then handed to him, I've already done a favor, counting it for him. He never complained as I said when I gave him the money..it's funny how he suddenly finds $20 missing a week later. Maybe the guy spent $20 on gas and cigs and then said "hey! $20 is missing! He must have ripped me off!"...oh well.
Best tip to prevent scamming I've found is- 1) Good communication. 2) Before the sale, make everyone sure of what you are selling, and get anything out of the way before the hand, so they know what is being sold. If you are the buyer. Clarify multiple times what you are buying.
If I ever buy from any of you in this thread, you'll notice I'll say at least two times "ok, so the price is ___ for _____, ______, and ______?". To make sure..better safe than sorry.
Scammers suck.
