Please tell me your kidding. I might be new to honda tuning, but I wasnt born yesterday. Even the San Diego junkyards know about these wide band 02 sensors.

well now you know, i guess. it beats paying 500+ for an aftermarket wideband.

 

now im curious. would the vx o2 work with an abdII car and how is wide band benificial? thanks.

 

ah man i cant go into details all i know is it fine tunes your car with the right equipment and its similar to the 02 used at dynos.

 

It will only work with a few stock honda ecus. Your VX being one of them. Wide band is beneficial with your VX, so that it could get extremely good gas mileage.

no the sensor itself only runs from 130-160. it's the controler box that is the expensive part. did you know that the sensor the motec uses is an NTK L1H1. the same exact one in the VX. this sensor also comes as a Bosch 13246 and NAPA Echlin OS791. so try your auto parts stores for those #'s. to be sure it's the right one, it should have L1H1 stamped on it.

 

wow. so let me get this right, if i plug the vx o2 sensor up to my car..it will work just fine and i get better gas mielage? someone school me!!

those thing are freaking impossible to get I been trying to get one for about 2 weeks .... I just read in the yahoo group that this guy: jnjspdshop@adelphia.net is doing a BG email him... and add your name to the list... I'm trying to get 2 actually from him... for me and my bro... http://www.thepartbin.com has them in back order at first now it look like they have them on sale for like 300ish ... napa has them in back oredr too... only place you can probably get one i would say is hond dealership and it not going to come cheap...

 

i work at a NAPA distribution center and put in an order for one. for sure it's on back order. the guy who ordered it told me he may be able to get the bosch one for me sooner. $300? how can that be? they're only 130-160.

 

i have an integra. just wondering if it will plug right up and give me better gas mileage. this is something i never heard..

300 from part bin right now.. they say is in stock ... I'm not going to pay that much.. I need it but 300 is over my budget......

I got mine from Napa for 130..
