Missing K20
i spoke to my bank about a week ago, theres nothing they can do as its a wire transfer, they would be able to do something if i had used a credit card etc,
the only thing they said was pay some small fee to contact the other bank(us) and transfer the money back, but the seller would have to agree to this, which i dont think in this case would work!!!!
I still havent managed to get through to the PD in aurora about this fraud, there never seems to be anyone at the desks,

this doesnt make any sense... banks are insured regardless of it being a wire transfer?
i just called the department they are always there to pickup the phone... police are able to be reached 24hrs call them here 1-303-739-6000 you might have called a different location...you have to call the actual department station which there is always someone there to answer the phone.
also keep inmind were on the other side of the world,
2:00pm here in california equals 11:00pm your time...

Good luck man. My friend got scammed a couple of years ago on ebay for a type r engine. He lost $3200. Ebay only reimbursed him $175. ($200 with a $25 fee) As a general rule I will not buy anything over $150 off ebay because of what happened to him. Same thing, wire transfer to a different country (Canada) and never heard from the guy after that.
Sucks we live in a world with dishonest people like this. Good job lettin everyone on here know what's up. Good luck

yea talk to a supervisor of your branch.. its rediculous that your bank wire transfer isnot insured for fraud. what you can also do is file a complaint here. these complaints go directly to the city attorneys office in his location.
before the fbi would handle every case, now local departments handle cases within their city. and like i said the complaint will go directly to the city attorneys email and you will get a letter letting you know who will be handling the case.

That would be almost as good as scamming a scammer for all he's worth.</TD></TR></TABLE>

If we all get together and pitch in 20 dollars towards your new motor I am sure we could get you one. its just trying to get people as kind as me to help. Good Luck
i recently filled a complaint with ic3, but havent had any email reply or contact yet, i sent it about a week ago.

hey ive found this guys, but im unsure on creating a web link (sorry) copy and paste it though, theres a video aswell,
basically i transfered money into her account for the engine, she then forwards it onto western express where she gets comission i guess, but they dont tell her that the customer will never get the product, so she is left with the blame, with no proper contractorial information on who in western express the money is transfered to.

I know this might sound cheesy to some but Ive always wanted to try it,..... (getting several hundred ppl to chip in a very minimal amount of $$ and see just how much it would accumulate) I'll match the $5.
Are you sure guys, thats really really generous of you, i just hope theres other people out there who understand as much as you guys do,
good luck - im ofcourse willing to add to your figures.
Thanks for the suppport!!
