Default IAC valve/sensor

I have a 2000 itr that needs a IAC valve/sensor, is there one on a nother car that will fit it? 99 si? or are they all the same on vtec manifolds? thanx

I also posted this on the itr board.
I need one if anyone has one laying around.

i asked the same ? a few weeks back and someone told me that they where all the same and i tried one from a d series and it fit the itr manny

just curious..........did it solve your problem? I tried one from a d series tonight and it still threw the same code. 14.

well i just found out today that my iac was never my problem . i was using a b16a2 t-body gasket on a gsr t-b and it was not sealing properly but even before i discovered that, my iac was never throwing a code . well did u reset the ecu after switching the iac and is the iac hooked up and is the iac a 2 or 3 wire plug

I did reset it, the one on my car is a 2 wire plug (I think) and I didnt even look at the other one car runs like **** with this problem, SUCKS!

still throwing a code 14 and it sucks! runs like ****! I switched the iacv out with several different ones off civic and it still does the same thing. does it have to be off a itr? is there anything else that would cause the ecu to THINK the iacv is bad? thanx

aight fellas just a lil update on my idle problem..........ITS FIXED!!!!!!!!!!! YEAAAA!!!!!!! boi am I glad that **** stopped. all along it wasnt the iacv or vacum lines, the intake manifold gasket was pretty bad. it was leaking all the way around and I gues it caused the ecu to think it was the iacv. weird if you ask me but I replaced the manifold gaske and poof! no more problems
