FS: K40 Radar / Laser complete protection - $1500 retail, CHEAP
==[[SOLD]]==
yea so this system is ridiculous if you've ever read about it. it's a dealer option on ferraris and porsches and whatnot. retail price before installation costs is $1500 total for both systems.

yes, this is their most current product pair. model #s are the K40-2000P undetectable radar detector system (front and rear protection) and the LD5500PLUS laser diffuser system. if you send in the warranty cards for each system (included), k40 guarantees you won't get a ticket for 1 full year, and if you do, they'll pay for it. real deal: people and magazine reviews vouch this. even if you don't want to buy it i'd recommend reading the reviews if you have some free time because it's just cool **** to know about. there's also a guarantee against theft.
so anyway, i'm looking to get $500. the stuff has never been used, still in original packaging, wires still wrapped in original twist ties and everything, i just took it out to take some pictures.
PICS: here's a couple 320x240s, i have more pics at 1600x1200 available through email

i was planning on doing it myself but the website recommends having it professionally installed. i can't imagine it being too difficult for the average HT member...the instructions even have pictures

not as good as the v1? 90% of the time when you get a ticket from radar and you actually have a radar detector, you were just driving stupid fast anyway. if you're just driving casually fast (20 over or so?), any decent radar detector will give you enough time to slow down and avoid the ticket. and if they use laser? oh yea, screwed. you get to know that you're screwed as soon as they hit you, but that doesn't really do anything for ya unless you wanna make a run for it. this does show you direction like the V1 (front or rear, doesn't do sides), but due to the nature of the beast it's slightly less sensitive - and even that is arguable. i see reviews go back and forth. some people will still like the V1 more, but there's a reason this retails for 4x that. ::
