I am driving the white Civic seen out in front. Great battle between me and the black 944Turbo. Video taken from behind me in the TT session on Sunday. The four cars in frame (including the 'vette) have been dualing it out all year in TTC. No contact between us. No drama in the paddock. The Civic has now three out of four first place finishes at Thill. I had a message to deliver about cornering and braking. Results seen here:

i saw this in person last sunday... was a slightly worried for drivers at first but he walked away. i think the repair bill will be 6 figures.

also, un-official overall track record of Laguna Seca was broken. 1:05.7 by 2003 ex-RB Ferrari F1.

From the SVRA race this year at the 12 Hours of Sebring... there is a alot of caution but the green flag racing is worth it... My brother was in the car for the first stint, I was in for the second.

NW Motorsports Grand Prix.

Had to replace the headgasket in the morning, missed qualifying and started in the back of the pack (Class=ITA).

A nice job. Looked like the rx7 had you on power. Why did he drive it off on the last lap?

I think he was frustrated that I passed him and went too deep under brakes. He knew that I started at the back. Either that or he had a tire off while trying to slow down. He definitely has me on power and is on R6's (I'm on old, very used Hankook C51's which to me are miracle tires). His car can't transition as well and I can really trail-brake my CRX with my recent susp settings so I eat him up in twisty parts of the track. One thing to notice in this video is my steering wheel in the 2 big braking sections after the long straights. I had some bad transfer layer shutter. I will update the race-brake thread. Put the ST42's back on for Sunday.

He was really pissed (in a good way) the day after because he out qualified me by 7/10th's a second with the fastest time at this track in ITA since the new config (last year). He and I were chatting before the final race when I congratulated him on his outstanding class pole position when I said: "...but can you do it 18 times in a row?"

Well, I'm uploading the Sunday race right now so you'll get see if he could be fast for all 30 minutes.
