Default TC Thunderhill HC race 8/29-31 - smack talk already

Since it isn't a regular NASA weekend I email me guys to let them know that the Team Continental weekend @ Thunderhill on August 29th-31st is an official NorCal WCHC points weekend. I tell them we need to make sure to do well since all the boys from up North will be coming down & trying to steal our glory. I even invite the SoCal guys to come up.

My H1 points leader sez bring it. Actually, he said, "Just tell them to expect to leave all the big trophies with us!!"

Who is come down?! I double dog dare you!

Sorry Mike...

H1 belongs to Rinde. Tell the SoCal surfer boyz it's not worth the drive. We plan on keeping the throphies and swag in our house...

The TC weekend should be one of the best race west-coast events of the year. If you've never seen a keg wagon before, well the Saturday dinner and brew fest is worth the drive...

We'll bring the game, dog... It's a matter of pride for us!

TC~who'll give the ECHC experience a run for the money...

Get it right. It's pronounced; "hIzOuZe".

If nothing else, I'll be there taking about a bagillion pictures and shooting video. So far there should be four of us (Scott, Greg, John and myself) driving down together. I get to play crew biotch for the weekend, so expect to see our cars in tip-top condition.

You know Greg, I will have to link this to the other list.

It will be really cool to finally meet you guys. Since my team mate drives on Sat, I will get to watch the race. This is going to be sooo cool! (old man speak)

Hey, I got an idea. Since I am so slow anyway, I will wait to get lapped. Don't worry, it won't take long. Once the first group of guys goes by, I will just block. Of course, the first group will be all the NorCal HC racers but you already knew that.

Oh Boy!

The only time I ever really talked smack to another racer was when I was talking to Joe Harlan sometime last year. He was telling me how much improved his car was since the last race and how he had a fresh set of Hoosiers too. I was on some year old A032's, and was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. The weather was a little spotty though, and I had my Dirt Stockers ready, so I told him that "If it rains, you're toast." I barely beat him in the dry on the A032's.

Greg - I'm not sure that you're not writing a check I can't cash. I'm not about to talk smack about people like Glen Kawano in the DC car, Shawn Bota with the Mota, Jeff Owen with the JDM front end, Tom Lepper in the Fosstech car, and whoever might happen to drive well one of those nasty little hatchcraps.

I hope that at the very least we'll all have a great time and our cars will leave the weekend in about the same condition they arrived in. That said, I do plan on bringing a reasonably fresh set of RA1's.

Scott, who thinks the end of August still seems a long way away...and a good thing too...I hope all those guys I mentioned make it...

C'mon Scott... Remember the movie "The Natural"? Well think of your ITR as Robert Redfords bat "Wonderboy".... you know, the homemade bat that ended up hitting the home run into the outfield lights?

You can be the Roy Hobbs of the TC Honda Challenge!... of course the victory lap won't have any falling sparks around the track, but whatever.

This thread is about smack, isn't it?

C'mon Scott. You know this is all in fun. I am still not quite sure I understand what your triple negative is saying.

I'm sure that all everyone wants is good, hard, clean racing. Oh yeah, that stuff plus bragging rights for a year.

Hey, remember the old western. I think it was called the 'War Wagon'. It was suppose to be invincible. I wonder how well the 'keg wagon' will fare from our combined assult.

You know the weather is different in Willows, CA. 109 degrees, sun, no moisture in the air. I am sure it will be the driver's ability to deal with the heat, or not deal with the heat, that will be the winning magic.

I'll let the secret out. See, we in Norcal have a special tire addative that was developed through thousands of hours of tire testing in the heat.

Make that five. I talked to James, and he's in. I linked James to this forum, so hopefully he'll post.
I talked to Kyle today and he'd like to come crew also.

I don't know about any smack talk from me, but I plan on going down for this one. I completed my car today (finally), cage was stamped off yesterday by the conference race director, and I get to do my first novice race in two weeks!

I should have about 7 races done before the HC race at Thill, bring it on.

If not this weekend, come out for the Hyperfest weekend @ Sears Point (Infineion). That is a crossover event for us too. Instead of NorCal/PacNW it will be NorCal/SoCal.

Man, I need some H4 cars to race! Oh well, come out anyway!

When you guys get out here, hit me up. I'll kick in $$ to your travel fund...

Of course if you did make it out here, you would race under "Celebrity" status and your first place finishes would have to be voided... but, you will both receive t-shirts that say "I won the TC WCHC race and all I got was this F**kin' T-Shirt"

Wait are we 'sposed to be smack talkin' the East Coast?
