whooooooooo hoooooooooo GREAT post!
nice pics too, who took them all?
congratulations man, excellent day at the track, and your car looks great!
dont post your spreadsheet, you dont want that info in the wrong hands and you dont want to hear all the flaming. But good idea to keep track of it all, I have been doing the same.

Very very cool! Nice job on the vid, I finally got the correct codec to view it. I'm hoping to be doing the same thing in another year... for now HPDE will have to do.
Good post!

Shawn: I don't think I'm the envy of anyone on here, this board has a lot of experienced racers, even the Foo-man visits here from time to time to talk to all us mortals.
And thanks for the offer on helping me "pit" though I'm not sure I'm at that "level" yet, haha... though I wouldn't want to get the chick-magnet-Sparco dirty having to kneel down and check tire pressures, lol.

hey thanks again for the comments guys - my bud took the pics with his FujiFilm 4megapixel camera. The video was shot with my Canon Mini-DV camcorder.
Shawn, thanks for the offer on helping pit, I'll make sure to take you up on it
oh, and if anyone wants to see my spreadsheet on the car build-up costs, just IM me and I'll send it your way
and to the guy that asked for the mp3, emails been sent

good work! As for the excel spreadsheet, if you're under 10k for an IT prepared civic I'd say that's awesome. I have a spreadsheet of my costs (not every little thing so far...but all the major components and parts) and right now I'm looking at $9k+ with about %90 percent of everything accounted for and less than half of the items bought and work done. Probably looking at $10K for my Autocrosser/HPDE instructional tool.... Building a car isn't cheap...
