Which shift linkage?
While on track, I broke the ghetto JB Weld that the previous owner put on to hold the stabilizer bar of the shift linkage together. I don't know what to get...it is a cable J1 tranny in an 88 CRX HF, B18C5 motor. I'll get pictures tomorrow of what it looks like.
next time, post something like this in the hybrid section.
You need to use shiftlinkage from any B series powered car. It will have to be cut and rewelded to length. So, you might as well keep what you have, get the JBweld off of it, and weld it back together. There are some companies that make a direct swap linkage, but it's not worth the money.

what mount kit?
i've never seen any mount kit that could use a stock linkage.all i've ever used required a modded stock linkage.
i've used modified linkages from various companies, but the best working(and cheapest,by far)method i've i've found yet is to mount the engine and tranny, then cut the linkage to the correct length and weld it back together.
sounds like it's already the correct length, just needs to be welded.is the shifter bar also JB Welded?if so,it needs to be properly welded also.with the linkage on the car, scribe a line length-wise on both bars to ensure they aren't twisted incorrectly, then take them to a welding shop to be welded.

So then unbolt it, take it to a fabricator, and have them weld it properly. Why spend more money when you don't have to?
