Check out the Corbeau Forza II. Good seat that won't break the bank.

I've got a Corbeau Forza II which I just took out of my track car. It was only used twice by instructors for two HPDEs for a total of 2.5 hours. Comes with custom aluminum seat mounts. PM me if you are interested.

the forza's are no longer FIA homolagmated, in case it is a concern of anyone's..

the cheap sparco race seats would be the next ones up, i'd guess..

2 things to try unless this is just really an excuse to spend the money on a race seat:

(1) Get some of the shelf liner stuff that's the little rubber knobby things. They also make tool box liner of the same stuff if you're too manly to use something bought in the housewares section of Walmart. Put that on the seat before you get in. This works wonders if you have leather seats and slide around in them.

(2) Get the lap belt only for a harness, install, and wear for autox events. This is what I did on my Miata. Still love it years later.

Also, remember that depending on what class you run now in autox, a seat may move you to a different class.

Good luck.

A lot of big dudes go for the Sparco Evo2 or Evo3, depending how big you are.

If it's the CRX listed in the signature, sounds to me like an aftermarket seat would be okay with the rules. How much would you enjoy sitting in one doing your day to day driving? I suggest taking a test sit before spending money on anything. A nice reclining aftermarket seat may be a good way to go, too.
