Ouch I guess it is all about location. Down here in FL I have a 30x15 unit for 130/ month.

Car looks good. I can't wait to get my project finished, well off jack stands!!! I don't think a project is ever truly finished!!!

What are you using the feed the AIM with information? Do you have an AEM EMS or something else?

Car looks good and nice driving. Thill doesn't need much shifting at all, but it looks like you figured that out in your more recent trackdays.

Nice setup!

Disappointed to hear about the street legal stuff. My wife and I are contemplating a move to the bay area when our 4 month old is more mobile. Maybe I'll have to leave my car registered in NJ if we move!

Well if I'm calculating the time right 2:12 is not bad at all. I am assuming NT01's?

My car at 170ish whp on 225 RS3's was doing 2:19ish and I have done more than 10 days there, so keep working at it. Thill is loads of fun, especially when you are catching up to much faster cars in the braking zones.

here's a thread from the drag race forum that has some dash options for the S300.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/drag-racing-36/anyone-using-tunerview-postem-3025218/

and i think the S300 V2 supports a lot more like outputs to the AIM, but not 100% sure. but it sounds like you got a deal on the AEM. just wanted to share.

think this will pass for a street car in CA? LOL

FYI, you can configure your AIM to read your gas level and setup some alarm if you want. I did it 3 years ago for a customer...I don't remember where to go in the software, but it was not really hard.

Hoping to get my EM1 somewhere near the level your car is at. However going to stick it out with the B16a2 for now. Also my car was a SSC civic for SCCA Great Lakes Region. So it has plenty of battle wounds that will need repair down the road. Oh well it's a race car! Attempting to build it towards SCCA ITS compliant for now.

Yeah i started out with a K20a3 in my old EP hatch. Learned how to drive in that thing, and with years of autocross and track time i built the car to meet the demand. Don't really hang out at King as much anymore, however when i do i talk with my buddy that works there.

Wisconsin is a very cool state to live in if you ask me, and you have some fun tracks out there! I use to fly out to WI for business 3 times a quarter, fell in love with the state!
Wisconsin has it's ups and downs. I've been working for the state in the dept of corrections going on 7 years now. So i'm experiencing some downs with it! LOL!

However it is nice to think that a commute to Road America is only 40 minutes from my new apartment. I've only ran on that track once, and that was years ago. Want to get out there once more and take down some corvette owners again!

Hoping that one of these days, my buddies will host an event there so i can instruct. I have the driving lines down to a science, thanks to the help of a pro racing buddy.

scrapes oil off the crank. so essentially it help lower rotating weight and resistance. make revving faster and smoother.

My guess is that they scrape the residual oil off of the crankshafts counter weights, in order to reduce drag.

Robin, when you get that front splitter on the car. Could you take some pics on how you've mounted it. I'll be getting one for my build sometime in the next few months. So having your car as reference will be awesome!

what suspension setup did you end up with? I just recently picked up a 96 hatch for daily driving but thinking about throwing some suspension parts on and tracking it. No engine work tho, sticking with the D16y7

Nice car! A bunch of us will be at Buttonwillow on April 15th for the HFF Challenge series that Speedventures hosts. You should at least come spectate if your car isn't ready.

There will be a lot of us Honda guys out there. I work at Eibach and usually bring a bunch of EZ-UP tents so you can look for those to spot us. BW is my favorite track too. I've been going for 10+ years now.

Your F250 might not do bad. I've seen instructors take out fully stock vans and SUVs in the rain and actually pass quite a few cars. Ha.
