Road Track around Winston-Salem, NC?

Road Track around Winston-Salem, NC?
I was up in this area a week ago, and was told that there is a guy who may be building a road course in this area. Can anyone substantiate this?

I "heard" early this year that someone was going to be building a road course & 1/4 drag strip around the Charlotte area......I'll believe it when I see it..

The guy told me the same thing about a "Honda" road course & drag strip etc, but I thought he was talking about the Winston or Statesville area. Who knows though.

There was some talk years ago about using the Farmington dragway property to create a roadcourse there. I think the same group orgainzed and built CMP, so the Farmington thing died.

Unfortunately I did not win the 250 million dollar powerball lottery last week...so there will not be any road racing tracks built in the Triad area....
