Default random questions

Is removing the thermostat a good way to increase cooling ?

The Benen tow hook says to mount it sandwiched vertically in the rear around the stock tow hook but is it possible to mount it horizontally through the reinforced area around the factory hook ?

Do naca ducts work if mounted upside down ?

No, it will probably run hotter as it can let coolant move too fast and not hang out in the radiator long enough to cool properly. If you feel you need it opened, then gut the middle out of a thermostat but leave the shell in place. I just run a low temp thermostat in my racecars and some Water Wetter and they run plenty cool even on nasty hot ambient days.

Not sure on this, my rear is mounted sandwiching the stock loop but has never been used.

Meaning facing the ground but still with the leading (narrow) edge forward? Yes if there is laminar or smooth flow coming across the surface it will work on the roof, side or bottom of the car. If the airflow is not laminar such that it is coming pretty smoothly down a panel then it won't work or at least not as designed.
