I'm just finishing up my H4 Hatch and I wanted to start attending schools so that I can get my license.

I know there is the one at Thunderhill and the school at Infineon, anyone else know of anymore? or can make recomendations for either?

if your building a H4 car I assume you are thinking of racing with NASA.. with nasa (at least in nor-cal) you have to work your way up through the HPDE program..

Haha, yeah I've done a few HPDE's.

Here's why I'm asking this questions and my reasons behind H4.

I started HPDE with my Type R and I have done events at Thunderhill, Buttonwillow, and Infineon. I really enjoy it and I have been getting better. I know it's a matter of time before something breaks or the car gets a big hit, either by another driver or me going off, so that's why I decided to build this car.
The reason for H4 is that the car can hold some resale value and so I have the option of competing.

Anyways, I know I have to go through the HPDE's and then get written off to compete then get my Rookie license, but I wanted to take a class so I can get some extra pointers. I don't know everything so more techniques wouldn't help.

I wanted to know what schools are out there and what they offer.

ahh..ok.. from our post it sounded like you wnted to take the school to get your comp licence... nasa nor cal does not offer anything like that..

but i'm sure there are several comp schools you could attent to learn from..

The Derek Daly 3 day class has gotten some good reviews from some of my fellow S2000 owners.

Run HPDE the restof this year to get really comfortable in the car. Take SFR-SCCA School next year, run two regionals, get SCCA license. With SCCA license in hand, apply for NASA license. Run happily ever after.
SCCA school is 6 hour track time in 2 days, with lots of other race cars, (not street cars!) around.

Look for Driving Concepts schedule. Not sure where in cali they're running but NASA seems to like them for licensing (along with BMWCCA, PCA, etc.)
