quick coilover question(preload?)
Just trying to fill in some gaps in my suspension knowledge.
say you have a full coilover setup, like the tein type flex for example,
you can adjust the height at the base of the shock, and at the spring perch.
now naturally you're going to want to use the base of the shock to keep your suspension travel,
but what is the use of still being able to adjust it at the spring perch?
I've noticed "spring preload" being mentioned before, but I dont know what that means/does.
any input would be great, thanks

dude are you ******* joking?
did you even look at that post..
its 5 ******* pages long, and most of it is just babble and flaming about who knows more about preload, and how to achieve it.
maybe there is an explanation in there SOMEWHERE of what it does exactly,
but I gave up after 30 ******* nonsensical replies, with 4 more pages to go
