Its not a race track, but Cape Canaveral is pretty freakin awesome to look at from above. Its hard to beleive how huge it is. Also you can see cars sitting outside of P1 </TD></TR></TABLE>

You should see it in person. Before all the 9/11 stuff, you could get in your boat, go out of the cape and then head north right past the stuff. Nobody cared so long as you weren't on the property. Now the launches while out there are even more amazing.

The US was required to destroy certain numbers of SAC bombers. Mostly B-52's.

ITR Expo 3 was held at Beaverun.

On the first day of the event, we stopped by a convenience store to fill up gas and get some snacks. The family who owned the store asked why there were so many of the similar cars in town, and I mentioned we were all going to the track. The family was shocked that there was a track located in their town.

The convenience store was only a few blocks away from the entrance to the track. </TD></TR></TABLE>
on a totally unrelated note, last night on Wheel Of Fortune, there was a contestant from Beaver Falls,PA.she said she works for a major ad firm in that town?i thought the extent of their employment opportunites was that nudy bookstore/peepshow thing?!

one of my TV prod. teacher's grew up around p.burg and beaver falls. he brought in tapes from his old station out there and there were commercials for businesses out there. funny stuff.

even funnier was when I was looking for a place to camp for my first trip out to "the beav", i googled wampum, pa, which is the town the track is actually in, and it showed a population of 600 people.

Nah thats mostly commercial airlines, I'm talking about the actual base (Davis Monthan) and the stockpiles of current era military equipment and the entire military base itself (which the other guy said is why Laguna Seca is blurred).

KOALA- we are both refering to the same airplane yard

Here is the Tokyo track from GT4 you kinda have to connect the dots. You can "fly to" Tokyo and it's just to the left.

i used to go skating/play hockey at the Sendagaya tokyo taiikukan arena (its like 200m away from the big garden called jingugaien that u go around in the game)

next time i go back i'm gonna definitely walk around the entire track
