Re: The Official Formula 1 2019 Season Thread
I forgot my log in to the two big racing torrents sites from a few years ago. I will see if I have any friends that can dvr the races for me.

Re: The Official Formula 1 2019 Season Thread
qualy and race was better than last year where the audio was out of sync.
even though the frame rate is only 30fps it does looks like a higher resolution/bitrate than last year as well

Last year I did Sling. This year i'm going to freeloading off my parents ESPN subscription
McLaren must be kicking themselves. They might of been in a similar grid position with Honda/Renault, but they're a paying customer now compared to getting paid from Honda + free engines IIRC. I think McLaren was mentioning they can offset the cost from placing much higher in points and bringing in more sponsors. Guess not

There are a few more logos on the car this year (actual paying advertisers as opposed to Kimoa which represented an Alonso salary cut)...but they are I'm sure missing the $100m/year from Honda.

They finished 9th in 2017 with 30 points and 6th (thanks to FI imploding) last year with 62 points. STR finished 8th with 33 points. Objectively you could say that having Renault vs Honda power last year was a net positive in terms of performance.

I hope Mclaren and Williams get it together. Has there ever been a team as successful as Williams become dead last with such a huge gap? I don't think they'll apply the rule but I wouldn't be surprised if Williams get exceeds the 107% qualifying rule.

f1tv has a new weekend debrief show, sky dropped Ted to 40% of the races and he turned up as the host, and f1 hired Rob Smedley and he’s on the show too dropping very good commentary
