Re: The Official Formula 1 2018 Season Thread
i agree
has VAN ever done anything impressive in an F1 car? i mean i know he got a raw deal with a **** car but seriously all he's done is expose ALO's raw talent
meanwhile RIC kept his head down and managed some kind of car problem. i'd love to know what kind of deal he's got in his pocket.

Apparently VAN was right behind HUL in the early stages. HUL finished 8th so VAN figured if he had just followed HUL the whole race he would have finished 9th. Well they pitted VAN too early to help ALO's race...well he ended up finishing like 15th while ALO's gearbox blew up. VAN really needs to start qualifying closer or ahead of ALO if he plans on keeping his seat next year. I think one way or another Lando Norris will be driving a McLaren next season.

I'm sure this win and current third in points gives RIC a better bargaining position in contract negotiations.
Anyways, former F1 driver Alexander Rossi will have this livery this weekend that reminds me of the Jordan 7-Up livery.

the press release says he decided to step down.
a VP once got up in front of us and said they needed to reduce headcount and expected people to leave through attrition instead of having layoffs.
a few months later after some bad financial results the VP left. i said it looks like he decided to attrit.

Do they group you with similar drivers? Would suck if you have to go against kid pro karters that weigh less than 100lbs. I didn't see what prizes you win on COTA's site.
