ESPN stepped their game up with the no commercial thing. As long as that keeps happening I don't need F1 TV.

absolutely, and until you can watch a session from the beginning before it ends (DVR style) it's definitiely inferior to a cable package

I only wish ESPN would show all 3 practices and qualifying. I've not been able to get every qualifying session from ESPN but the no commercial thing during races is fantastic. I'm trying the F1 tv app for a month to see how I like it.

okay, having access to every onboard cam with team radio is a game changer. edit - this is valid after a session is over and the replays are posted. none of this works with a live session
riding along with ALO as he does the first laps of pignose as the engineer walks him through radio checks and briefs on winds and front wing testing. they're running some kind of calibration where they box every lap, make an adjustment, then go drive the circuit and make the next change to the front wing

omg the fp2 live feed is ****, 14 minutes delayed and broken/stuttering/buffering. no way to pause/backup. no way to watch from beginning.
edit - completely broken now, so much for watching the race live if they can't get through fp2

again fp2 replays with onboards are great. GRO chucks it into the gravel on his 4th lap. "ohhh fudge i think i'm stuck mate"

As you may know, we have experienced some live play-back issues during our coverage of practice and qualifying from the Spanish Grand Prix. We want to apologise for the inconvenience caused and we’re working as quickly as we can to get these resolved for you. Unfortunately we do anticipate that the problems experienced during qualifying will not be resolved in time for the race.
