Re: The Official Formula 1 2015 Season Thread
Horner thinks VERY highly of Kyvat
Christian Horner is in no doubt Red Bull has made the right decision by promoting Daniil Kvyat from Toro Rosso next year.
When Sebastian Vettel announced he would leave the team in October, Red Bull immediately announced Kvyat as his replacement rather than bringing in a more experienced driver from another team. Kvyat only has one year of F1 experience with Toro Rosso, but Horner said the successful promotion of Daniel Ricciardo this year convinced the team to put its trust in Kvyat.
"The way he has performed this year has been phenomenal, he's been very quick," he said. "I think what gave us real confidence was the performance Daniel Ricciardo has delivered this year. Giving him the opportunity has given us the confidence that you can invest in youth and you can believe and trust in it. That's why we've taken Dany Kvyat."
"I've known him obviously since being a member in the Red Bull Junior Team, he drove for my team in GP3 as well, where he won the championship and his fight back that year from mid-season to the end of the year was truly impressive.
Horner said both Red Bull drivers realise the responsibility that comes with racing for a world championship-winning team.
"The two drivers get on very well and know each other. They both have a bit of banter outside the car, in the car they are both hungry, no quarter given racing drivers. They know they are driving for Red Bull, the brand, the team and all employees of the ground and with that comes a responsibility."

While we're on the subject of the young bucks, Top Gear had a pretty cool piece on Verstappen recently. I'll share it in annoying amount of posts with huge photos below:

Haha yes indeedy. When I realized I wasn't going to get famous, make a career, or get more pu55y from being an ******* kid trying to have, I cut that **** back off and got back to business (school).
GF's sister wants me to grow it back out doe, she found that picture the other day at our house and was swooning like a boss. Told her to get to the gym and we can see what we can do.
PS I still hate her.

It is similar but I think the new regs call for the tip to be lower. I forget tho, haven't browsed through tthem in a few months.
Side note. I just got done watching Rush again. What a great movie. Seeing all the old F1 cars was great. My wife watched it with me again. I think she enjoyed it as much as I did.

Re: The Official Formula 1 2015 Season Thread
Tony Fernandes lost Craterham and now he lost an Air Asia bird too.
Looks like an Airbus A320 encountered a thunderstorm at 32,000 feet and didn't make it.
