Default need alignment advice quick!!

I had my car aligned yesterday. I may have gotten overly happy with the toe-out setting for the front. I have yet to drive the car hard enough to get any feed back myself. I'm heading up to the track this weekend and I don't want to find out the hard way that I may have dialed in a tad bit too much toe out.

Total toe out for the front is -0.40 (-0.20 on each tire)

does anyone know what the effect this might have on a car in general.. good, bad?? How does it effect turn-in, braking stabilty, straight line tracking, etc.. driven at the limit?

You may want to mention if the units are in degrees or inches.

Way to much!! Shoot for -.04 - -.08 per side. I just got mine redone today and put it at -.04 per side and -.08 total toe out. 1/16 toe out = -.06

Sorry, I forgot, measurements are in °

I'm going back up on the rack later today. A stupid and costly mistake on my part.
-.04°/-.08° are the numbers I was looking, I just forgot to add the zero

What are the characteristics of a fwd with extreme toe-out settings?

Poor tire wear. Twitchy/wandering steering at high speeds.

If it's -.04 on each side, then just leave it. Toe out also helps turn in, and steady state cornering (kind of).
