Default Mobil 1 Racing oil 0w-30

Has anyone have any experience using Mobil 1 Racing in 0w-30 for endurance road racing? I have a K24 that does endurance racing at 8 hours event. I'm planning to use Mobil 1 Racing 0w-30 as it has high amount of zddp and Phosphorus for engine protection. I will most likely change out the oil after an weekend of 2 days of 8 hours endurance racing or i can sent it for lab report in hoping to use for an additional weekend. I think 30wt is bit thin for endurance racing but Mobil 1 don't come in 40wt which would be great. However, they do come in 0w-50. Maybe I can mix both for 40wt?

Please let me know if anyone have any experience on this oil for endurance or road racing?

I have decided to go with M1 0w-40 Euro oil instead as from reading, people indicates it is a great oil and easily get from Wal-mart and cost effective as well.

We have been running our 150K mile junkyard K24 on Rotella T6 5w-40 until it became unavailable (COVID?) and more recently the Mobil 0w-40 Euro. Both have been fantastic. Blackstone reports show little to no degradation and no noticeable wear metals are present in the oil.

Thank you for your input. Yeah, not going to spend the high priced oil where I can get M1 0w40 at Walmart.

I also run the T6 5w40 but it has seemingly disappeared. VERY hard to find.

I did try the Mobil 1 0w40 for an oil change. I don't like how much valve train clatter there is on cold starts. Occasionally got a VTC rattle as well with cold starts. Never had this issue with the T6.

Recently found enough T6 to do an oil change after 5k miles on the M1 and the cold start clatter has gone away.

2012 K24Z7 with right around 100k miles. Only the last 30k or so have been under my care.

I abandoned Mobile 1 about 12 years ago... my blackstones were coming back fine on the Truck, track car, and Jeep... but the Truck (she works every weekend and is my daily) and Jeep (was my wife daily and her belly dragger trail rig) valve train started getting louder on the second change AND my track car blew up 5 laps into the new engine.

we now run Amsoil OE in our Tundra, Jeep (4.0L), and Honda Fit (i believe the detergent level and additives are adequate for the OE service intervals and hasnt gummed up any rings) ... and i run a custom blend (motul, amsoil race, and an additive) in my race car (to achieve the weight and detergent level i want).

for perspective my Tundra has 186k miles and i have put 135k miles on her. She hauls wood and home supplies every weekend, tows the race car everywhere, etc. and has been golden for maintenance. My wifes 2005 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L has 225k miles on it and shes put on 200k of those miles... run year round, in the woods, on the street, through the deepest of snows (well up to her bumper). The Fit we just got and in two year have but 60k miles on it... its freaking amazing on gas and the only issue its had was the hood latch sensor for the alarm (we unplugged it lol).

M1 would be way down on the list for me as well. We ran the 0w-40 Euro our first ChumpCar race, then switched to T6 5w-40. Oil consumption was cut in half.
