You cannot use a 10.2"/11" rotor with thie Honed setup. It is only intended for the 294mm(~11.5") Mini JCW rotoe r.
What am i missing here. There websits says to be used with the 262mm rotor. I may have missed this aswell, but how do these compared to the wilwood hadp kit. Theres a bit of a cost difference.

They're talking about the stock knuckles (and I think they're referencing the stock rotor sizes for those knuckles). Some Hondas, like older Civics without ABS, came with smaller knuckles than the ones with ABS, or I think most Integras.

They have a kit available for either size that came with your car, in your case I'm quite positive you'd want this kit - https://honeddevelopments.com/produc...-mounting-kit/

And again that's not to say you'd use a 10.3" rotor with the Honed kit, because you wouldn't, they're just using that as a reference to the stock parts so people know what size knuckle they have.

If I went with the Honed kit, ideally I'd like to find a 2 piece rotor to use rather than the factory replacement Mini Coopers (is there significant weight savings by doing that?)
Honestly a reason why I am fine with the Mini Cooper Rotors as is is due to availability and being able to get them anywhere. If I crack my 280mm rotors and I am not home I know I should be able to find one from a retail auto parts store.

Well then... its nice that there other common options out there. But i still think id go with the wilwood dpha kit. I am however order the honed air guide kit. And removing the dust shield to get air directly to the center of the rotor

I have a set of Wilwoods with extra rings (the - GT36 variety), two sets of hats, hardware, extra Raybees St43 pads, some street pads, lines, and a bunch of extras if you are interested. I loved these brakes for HPDE weekends and what not but I am starting to go a different direction with the car and trying some new stuff. Rings are the 310mm units, so if you want to go up to a 16 or 17 it would work for you (or just get a set of smaller rings). I am on a 16x9 upfront with a 245 RR on it, and a rear in a 16x8 with a 225.. the brakes can still lock them up with the R compound. Kit fits the smaller spindles. Feel free to DM me @dublocivic on IG or w/e if you are interested.
