No! there is absolutely nothing wrong with the old design...
The new design works exactly the same, it's just much easier to install. No Press required, you don't even have to remove the trailing arm.

Don, I'm working on your other problem re the compliance bushings I'll pm some suggestions.

I just got my Hardrace Roll Center Adjusters from Jeff over at Special Projects Motorsports, Jeff's a great guy to deal with, and even though the RCA's weren't in stock as he thought, he gave me a call right away and let me know that he just sold out and had ordered more. It was a very easy transaction, and even though I had to wait a week, I have no problem doing so.

So if anybody needs Hardrace products, Jeff @ Special Projects Motorsports is the guy to call.

They increase the distance between the joints where the upper and lower arms connect to the upright, moving the instant center in and bringing the roll center closer to the center of gravity of the car. This in turn decreases the moment the center of gravity produces on the roll center.

Basically through all this they reduce body roll.

SCC has an article on them and provide some good diagrams.

Which issue of SCC has the article? It may be of some help to me, to pass on to customers.
Although I've sold hundreds of sets, I have to admit I have not tried them on my own car yet, as body roll has never been a problem for us.
However some good sound technical info would be handy to publish on my website alongside the product.

I found the information on here:
http://www.modified.com/tech/0508_sc...t_3/index.html
Though I don't know if the article was published in any actual issue.

Bump.

I had e-mailed Hard Race for some bushings. They sent me the below link as the website to their US distributor. Didn't see it mentioned anywhere.

I've ordered a full set from DOHC Garage (he has a shop in FL called VelocityShop). It should be arriving soon. I've always wondered about the hard bushings from HardRace so this time I will finally find out on Project Cheap Dirty SOHC. I'll post my findings here in few weeks when I do the full install. Dirty SOHC needs them badly... (1993 del Sol Si).

Ps, oops, just realized this is a pretty old thread...
