h1 was a BATTLE again....more lap traffic management skills.....

240's that spin in t10.....DON'T TRY TO SAVE IT!!!....drive it off...that made for a close call and would have taken me 3 more laps to chase kevin down...he was flying....

no official times that i know of....

watching kevin and scot side-by-side with no contact for 3-4 laps....GREAT STUFF have great video of that....

congrats.. to the stinger group!!!! NO FULL COURSE YELLOWS and no real sheet metal damage....

seeing pete's tire after the race....he was racing on cords since lap 2 or 3.....

2nd was belski from lo-buck. keith finished in there somehwere, kim had brake trouble, benno had mechanical trouble (dizzy maybe)

Today's race got red flagged before one lap was up due to a miata in the trees.... so they relined us back up for a 2nd try at it.... Helms and Slagg drove the crap off of their cars....

 

H4 - J. Kofod, J. Birchmore, A. Zimmerman

yeah, I was behind the 240 when it spun, there was no lifting, just aim away from it and drive


that was one of 3 cars I had to dodge at full tilt


awesome weekend guys, the racing in H4 is as close as it is in H1, there were 6 H4 cars lined up together for todays start

Thanks for the honorary finish without showing up I was looking at houses this whole weekend. Prayerfully, I will be back in '06. Send out a prayer, the soon-to-be Mrs. needs a job in Raleigh/Durham area. If she works = I can race.... actually, we can race. She wants to learn

met some dude in warrenton va who helped us out at 9pm on a sunday night...found some new studs....had an old wheel and mounted the extra tire we had....

H1 and H4 both had some interesting battles going on, and it was entertaining to watch close racing and still have the feeling (as an outsider) that people in the race were watching out for each other.

Thanks again Chad!!! My AEM ecu died on Saturday ... Chad let me borrow his Apexi ecu for Sunday's race. The car ran really rich and was breaking up, but at least I was out there having fun!

That was H4 madness for sure. Close racing the whole event. Cant wait for VIR.

 

I got a ton of shots of Sunday's race (bent a valve during Saturday's so I had to sit out), that I'll post as soon as I get them from the camera owner....

 

I too had a blast, and have some good vids if I can find a computer to load them with. Made it up to 2nd in both races but I just couldnt hold on. Ended up finishing 4th both days.

And I did more damage unloading the car and pulling it into the driveway than I did on track all weekend. I need a new exhaust and a better way of attaching the front bumper.
