Hell, I'd have bought it if I wasn't already on a "path". Can't beat the price...
Who said anything about H3? I'd raise hell in H4 as is (SSC).

Looking at the results to date, it appears that moving down from H3 to H4 will only net you one place. Would that be enough? ...not sure.
Couple notes IMO:
I know there are a lot of guys here that are GSR guys, but an SI fully prepped to ECHC rules with driver can win in H3. Look at the HU World Challenge car Jack ran, with a couple minor changes that car is in H3 and wins easily (3 seconds a lap faster during your race at Summit). I don't know all the specifics of his car, but it was only had a few things that bump it out of H3. I just know that I could prepare my Civic to within WChallenge rules and it would be in H3 (without ECU or brake change). Take a look at some GA cup stats sometime on this front, they are on pretty equal ground and that is with pro-caliber drivers behind the wheel

sorry dude, Tom's car is about 25-30 hp above yours and i won't even go into the suspension and weight differences.
The head, pistons, cams, ecu, etc.................. are way out of H3 rules.
"minor" changes...LOL.
edit--->actual it's about 45-50 hp difference

Ok guys.. We all know the level of prep Tom's car was, which is pretty nutty.. Abviously, he would be about 2 seconds slower if he was on Toyo T1-S streets...
Needless to say, I think this civic would be a competitve car in H3, after weight reduction and suspension...
Honestly, who thought a prelude would be competitive against ITR's in H2? No ONE!

two seconds slower
!!!!!
he,he if he was 2 tenths slower @ CMP or Summit he'd see a phucking NC license plate in his front windshield
Yack -who will roll a SVWC in a street kar before the year's up.

Lastly you are wrong about one thing.. I am familiar with some other WCT builds and if his is near the same that car has more than 25- ahh nevermind you said it yourself on the edit

The point that I was really trying to make is that a Si stripped down and prepared to the letter of the HC rules can compete against the GSR just fine.

This also makes the assumption that he has done everything there is to be done, which if that was the case he would be running at the front with Taz Harvey I would think. I don't even remember seeing him entered in WCT race (hadn't checked but just hadn't seen his name before).http://www.speedvisionwc.com/competi...a-civic-si.pdf
Hey BTW where are weight limits for Honda-Challenge in the rules? Am I missing something?
