does this engine look like it has several miles and events left in it? pics are from when the engine had 120,000 miles on it. the head and block were resurfaced b/c the head gasket was leaking internally and externally. is the black(is that carbon) on the pistons and valves bad. i'm guessing all engines with several thousand miles would have that. thanks for all the help and if u need more info i will try to get it. i'm thinking of buying this crx that has this engine in it.

 

Looks perfectly fine...but that's all you can really say from pics.

I talked to that guys in depth and he really knows his **** and takes care of his stuff, he changes all fluids in the car not just the oil. I mean you know someone loves their car if they change the tranny fluid and coolant every 3000 miles. If your thinking about buying the car... do it, its a beautiful peice, as long as you are going to use it for what its built for.
