Re: Do you Solo 2 ?? (civicgirl114)
Hello, my name is Casey <all: "Hi Casey!"> and I am an autocrosser. :blort:
I'm in the Atlanta region (#41 STS) and been known to compete at Middle Georgia and Chattanooga region events, too, when I need a fix.
edit: make you way to Atlanta and you'll meet many from H-T'ville there...

I'm an "autocrosser" who likes to run a Toyota Tacoma in the Houston SCCA region events.... I run for fun, but I imagine most of the novices who come in behind me don't think so...

Re: Do you Solo 2 ?? (CivicSiRacer)
You should trek up to some Atlanta events. Not only do we have big courses (50 to 60 seconds, sometimes 3rd Gear), but you get to hang out with folks from this board and a Honda Driving national champ or two.
Come up and run in FSP open. You can benchmark yourself against Brett Howell (01 National Champ).
Scott - 157 STS. Neon ACR
Currently racecarless .

TX region SCCA and Dallas area Equipe Rapide events. I also head to Shreveport Louisiana for an event occasionally (Red River Raceway is a great site).
I run an underpowered (now over-powered by a turbo) Civic hatch in SM and I'm permanently stuck around 5th place somewhere.

I am an autocross car *****...I admit it (I even have it on my helmet). I have a CRX Si that is set up modestly for CSP, but I have not raced it in over two years. I have been having too much fun running everyone elses cars. This season it is an FSP Scirocco as the primary car. However, I am sure I will play in some other cars as well. I figured I raced over 40 different cars last season.
I am located in the DC area, but I run National events all over the eastern part of the country.

A lot of us "Track ******" were once Auto-X Junkies.. but now adays we're too busy beating on our cars or drinking beer to attend auto-x's... nah, actually I'd really love to start attending the CCR and Triad events again, but our cars as they are currently prepared are given such a disadvantage that sometimes the competitive effort just isn't worth it... although if I wasn't so lazy, I'd do it just for the fun of it. I have been back to instruct at a few Auto-X Schools and Clinics though. Always Good fun.

Now when Mom's got a free weekend and she's willing to let me pound on her 2002 MR2...that's different
In any event, I occasionally autocross with Tarheel Sports Car Club in NC. I've been known to make appearances in DSP at the Virginia Pro Solo around May, where I get creamed by people who can actually drive.

PNWR region represent
I autocross an STS GS-R, which is only STS right now because of the wheels and tires. It will be more STS next year when I move my new suspension parts from their position under my bed onto the car.
