CUSCO Comp-S's? need help finding info.
does any one out there use these coil overs??
i cant find any information in english about them. so if anyone has specs or uses them let me know please.
its a toss up between these and TEIN SS's
i was wondering whether or not they were adjustable, come with pillow ball mounts, spring rates, etc.
i figure 3-5 stiffness settings are much more usefull than 16(tein) if in fact the cuscos are even adjustable.
from the picture it looks as though it is adjustable, and comes with a pillow mount but i dont know if this is just a standard pic.
this one kinda helps

I'm curious... how can it be a "toss up" between these and another product if you don't know a single thing about these, other than the manufacturer?
If it's this hard to find specs on a product what do you plan on doing if you need to have them repaired? IMO, you should move on to something else.

Yeah, we often forget how important stateside service is if you are going to be using stuff like this in a track/race environment.

If you want them for an eg~dc application this is what the comp~s set up looks like(in my old tread)https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=285027.
The spring rates vary to order.
Like the picture shows in your link that these are an aggressive street setup so they dont sacrifice to much comfort, will save your kidneys on a daily commute but still be very responsive at high speads and heavy cornering.
My opinion:
They are a really nice set up but do not offer any adjustable dampening. When I had them on my eg6 the ride was pleasent but because im a "junkie" I perfer a very firm ride and adjustable dampening so I upgraded.

Cusco shocks=KYB AGX in disguise.
Every Cusco I've seen has been made by KYB and if the adj is on top of the shaft its only 1-4 setting not 1-5
And as far as going with any sort of serious springs on those shocks I don't see it happening.
Also MOST of the cusco setups I've seen have welded tops...which means they aren't rebuildable.
Tein SS is GARBAGE except for the short body and that its rebuildable.
Save your money and buy a Koni ground control setup OR at least look at something from ZEAL or JIC.
