CTR and ITR master cylinder and brake booster
Hi.
I have civic EG6 with 15/16 brake master cylinder. I am planning to upgrade the system with CTR or ITR master cylinder + brake booster. I looked on ebay and i found that there are many different looking pumps. How to find which one is real type-r master cylinder + booster?
Thanks!

Re: CTR and ITR master cylinder and brake booster
theyre either 15/16 or 1''
personally i prefer the 15/16 because of just a little more pedal modjulation, but its negliable.
what size came on eg6? i would have sworn it was 15/16 if thats the case dont waste your time swapping it.

96-97 JDM ITR's have the 1" mc but with a 10mm/12mm fitting, you can't put this on any eg/ek without double flaring 1 brake line
this is the JDM 96spec ITR mc/bb
98+ acura integra gsr/itr and all jdm itr 98spec and up have the 1" mc with both 10mm fittings, which are direct bolt-on for the eg/ek
but you have to be careful about usdm or jdm, because the fittings will be on the wrong side if you get the wrong one, the one shown here is actually my old one i was selling, and it's a JDM unit, the brake line on the side will be on the opposite side if it was from a USDM car, which is what LHD car's want
for the 96-00 civics using the 98spec mc/bb, you would have to buy one from a USDM car, since the brake line fitting will actually hit the shock tower if you get a JDM unit, EG/DC's can use jdm/usdm mc's with no problem
