If you are talking about Auto Crossing, the car will turn in better if you go into the turn slower. The key is to come out of the turns fast. Give up some time at the beginning of the turn and your overall time will be faster.
As far as being in neutral in the turns... I agree with the other dude.... Neutral = no control

That's one thing my instructors always told me when I started doing HPDE's....NEVER enter a corner not in gear, even if you're off the throttle...stay in a gear...because especially in a front drive car...if you start to get sideways...stomp the gas, and hopefully it'll pull you out.

Yah, it's the inherent stability that comes with having a 26mm rear bar....i also upgraded my mowing capabilities with the addition of RoadRaceGear front splitter.
Of course right now it's a push mower...
