<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Chois i-VTEC &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">hey guys,
im trying out different springs first prokits and now skunk2.
prokits are ok because the springs are preloaded on the shock so when the wheel
lifts off the ground there is no chance of the spring popping out or seating improperly.
now with the skunk2's the springs are much shorter and now im having that
problem of it not seating properly after i go up a curb or a steep driveway.
im considering ground control next, will i get the same problem with the GC?

i will be dropping the car about 1.8 inches and would like to know if it'll have some
amount of preload or some helper spring to keep some preload so there will be
no chance of it popping out after the spring has been unloaded completly.

any ideas on the GC?
</TD></TR></TABLE>

theres nothing fundamentally different in design of the GC and skunk2 adjustable perch. what ive found is that my ERS springs fit rather snugly into the top hats of my shocks and that keeps em in, but i imagine it should be the same for skunk2 springs, but then again, maybe not. the other solution is to drill small holes in the top hat so you can ten zip tie the top of the spring to the top hat.

but YES, you can buy "tender" or helper springs that specifcally make it snug. but you can do it the other ways.

and btw, if you did a search for "coilover(s)", "GC" or "ground control" youd find all these answers.
