Default Car Selection

ok well i was going to build a crx for H4 but i have since changed plans with my crx since it was my first car so im going a different direction with it..... ok so now to the question

ok i want to buy an EG for H4 but i have never had a chance to experience to track an eg or even drive one for very long. im looking to either race an Eg or a CRX which (in your professional opinions) is a better handling car and have better response..... i know i know depends on parts etc etc but i want to know which car is a more balanced car. thank you in advance

If you want to know which is more COMPETITIVE, look to the rules book. I don't know of many competitive H4 EGs, and I think it has to do with minimum weight. IF I'm remembering correctly (IF) they have a very similar motor to the CRX, but a heavier weight. CRX might have an aero advantage too. Either one will be able to handle well, but the CRX will be harder to drive consistently at the limit if set up "fast".

yeah i noticed there wernt many EG's in the honda challenge. at least on the west coast. i believe the rules state that there is a 50-100 pound weight difference.... and the motor in the EG makes about 16hp more with vtec. they look like they would handle well but yeah i have heard that the crx is hard to drive....

crx's have a shorter wheel base so its gonna be harder to handle at higher speeds
