camber/toe question
I am on my 3rd alignment , It is really starting to **** me off, burned through two sets of azenis and one set of toyo t1-s. The last time seemed ok but then i think my skunk2 camber kit slipped and now my right front tire is shot. I am dropped on 5zigen springs, 2.0 front and 1.6 rear on agx's. Just wondering what my camber should be placed at and what toe settings I should run (factory is what i am being told, but shouldnt it be diff with a lowered height) I also have a full poly bushing kit, if that matters (which i dont think it does). I dont want to run extreme camber, but enough for some good street fun and something so my tires last more than 4k and i dont have a rear camber kit, aka washers. some advice would be great
i heard that scraping off the red paint helps reduce slippage. It also seemed to wear a bit more on the outside of the tire, and i always check tire pressure so that is not the problem. Why no camber kit, not useful??? I know that when camber is adjusted that the toe is thrown out of wack, but shouldnt i be running some kind of neg camber?? thanks for the input

Start doing your own alignments. Search this forum for alignment info. There's good DIY help. Camber doesn't kill tires like toe can (especially at the camber numbers you posted), so once you have the camber you want, adjust the toe where you want.
Or, just take it in and ask for zero toe like RJ said.

Not enough camber to cause any noticeable wear. Will probably get better wear for track/autox use.

Correct - which is why alot of people install camber kits on lowered cars when the problem really is toe.

sorry about all the questions, I am going to NTB tomorrow and getting the turd aligned, how should i tell them to go about it. Should i suggest a camber # and set toe from there, or should i just let them adjust it how they think it should be, or tell them to make sure the toe is set at factory specs (0) and then tinker with the camber from there???
Any info and numbers would help me out alot, i am just sick and broke
from buying new tires.
I will get the print out from them and see what you all think
Thanks for being cool and helping me out here, cause i know this forum knows what the hell they are talking about

Switch up the screws on the Skunk camber kit, scrape of the paint too. Check those ball joint boots too.

I'd keep the camber kit with the improvements. I have my alignment targetted at zero toe and negative 1 degree camber front. No alignment aids on the rear so stock on the rear. Tires are wearing very even so far and handling is peachy.
