Default Battery Relocation Question

Sorry, I have been such a post ***** as I am trying to finish up the building of the race car.

Next Subject: Battery Relocation

I need to wire up my master battery disconnect switch and I thought it may make the most sense to mount the switch to the dash board on the passener side. With this complete I was thinking about buying a battery reloaction kit and run the wire to the switch and then to the battery that I would relocate to behind the passenger seat (or at least where the seat would have been ).

According to SCCA regs here is the language

battery location is unrestricted within the bodywork (except Showroom stock, Touring and Improved Touring). If located in the passenger compartment wet cell batteries shall be in a nonconductive marine type container or equilivant.

What does this mean? By saying except IT does this mean I can not relocate my battery in my ITS GSR?

I read it that in IT you can NOT relocate your battery.

That is correct. The battery cannot be relocated in IT. Also mount the master kill so YOU can get to it as well as the workers.
