Re: California Speedway 3/6-3/7 (FormulaIntegra)
BTW, anyone bringing a Longacre Hot Lap Transmitter? Also, I've heard somewhere that all of the Infrared transmitters/recievers operate on a similar frequency, so it doesn't matter which brand you have, you could use a Longacre reciever with an ACT transmitter, etc. Anyone know if this is true?

Re: California Speedway 3/6-3/7 (FormulaIntegra)
i had hoped to do hpde3, but i'm not feeling the $195/day. i will be spectating at least one of those days.
if any of you that are racing need a hand in the pits, or someone to shout encouragement, or pose for pictures next to your car, etc, let me know.

I was gonna go but all the HPDEs are closed for registration. Maybe next time. California Speedway is like a couple minutes from my place so I might just go to watch all the race groups to get my fix of racing hehe.

Your sig is slightly off...
Correct quote:
"Speedvision once had a special on an exotic cars, and after taping various medical instruments and sensors on a person's body to monitor heart rate, breathing, brain waves, etc, said that they discovered that driving a car extremely fast gives the same readings on their sensitive instruments as a person indulging in "pleasurable activities". And we all know what that meansÂ…Â…"

There is a 90% chance that Shawn and I will be there with #66 and #65 if the engine builders are finished tonight!!!!
If not... Grab as many H1 points as you can guys, because We will have all three cars including #64 with Johnny Mac at the wheel in full battle order for Buttonwillow.
Good luck,
Kiwi

From the NASA website:
"No Gate fee will be charged for this event! Bring friends and family. "
Bring Grandma down, she'll have a blast!

Are you shooting for a magazine? I am trying to get Import Tuner authorize me to write an article for this race. I need pro photos if my proposal is accepted. My friend John Thawley, also a pro photographer can only make it on Sunday. Let me know. Thanks

Hey, John, you can do a feature on me, an up and coming Honda Challenge racer who is still working his way up the ranks of HPDE'ing, the trials and tribulations of earning one's race license, a truly "Grassroots" racing story from someone not even at the grassroots racing level.
I could give props to my homies and credits to the companies that I wish were my sponsors. All I need is a hot model to lay across my hood as I roll onto pre-grid.... any takers?

Actually, I do it for fun. Last season I took pics primarily for Hybrids Racing (Andy Hope and Tom Liang). I'm the quiet guy who hung around with the team and just kept taking pics of everything! Two of my pics were used though, so if you want to use any of my pics just let me know.
