brake/suspension setup
ok, i have been piecing stuff togeather, and i finally have a nice little build (IMO) going on. i just need some help finalizing the rest of it. the car is going to be a DD until i can find a beater, then i will probally change a few things and make it a weekend/track car only. let me know what you guys think so far....
Chassis: 1994 Civic EX 2dr
Motor: k20a2 w/ all k20a internals, s2000 valvesprings/retainers, arp rod bolts and head studs, ported/decked head, DTR header, ported RBC IM, 3" custom intake, 3" custom exhaust, DSS stage 2 axels, hondata K-pro. it has a stock tranny right now, about to get an OBX/K20A LSD and considering a 4.7 final drive
The car has been moderately gutted. it weighed 2280 with me and a full tank of gas, still has power sunroof and windows.
Brakes: the ex already has front GSR brakes. it has russell SS lines, 40/40 prop valve, type R master cylinder and brake booster, GSR rear disc conversion, power slot rotors all the way around, EBC red pads in front, orileys pads in the rear.
Suspension: rear camber/toe kits, spherical trailing arm bearings, GSR LCA's(need to upgrade), ASR subframe brace w. ITR swaybar, function 7 adjustable endlinks, NEX Coilovers w/custom rate spring. also has a tenzo-r rear tower strut brace. front - SPC camber kit, OMNI LCA, custom traction bars, manual steering rack/quafe steering gear. about to upgrade to all spherical bearings in front as well.
it is rolling on GSR blades w/ azenies.
things in the future: trunk brace, h brace, front 3-point brace, fender braces, b-pillar brace, harness bar. also thinking about switching to 36mm front hubs so i can use stock type s axels. oh, and i think it would be fun as hell with a JRSC on it
everyone can just give me feedback, or share what they are running etc etc etc.
