Before I mod, what scca class am I in?
I'm a getting into scca autocross and before I mod or do anything to the car, I want to know what class I'm in...and what is allowed
Mainly looking to get some seat time as I upgrade wheels, tires, brakes, brake lines, and suspension...
Car:
1991 Honda civic hatchback dx
Dohc zc swap with si tranny with hydro conversion
Stock airbox, stock throttle body, and stock intake manifold...
Aftermarket header, stock exhaust, stock suspension, stock brakes, and stock tire size
Car has full interior and aftermarket steering wheel
Thank you in advance...

Since the car is swapped that will put you in SMF. Street Modified Front wheel drive.
Have fun!

a tip on brakes: standard blank rotors with Hawk HP+ pads will be your best friend. And if you can do a rear disc conversion, do it, and follow the same.
also, find out if your club has a minimum weight requirement. If not, gut the ever living snot out of the car.

You'll have so much fun autocrossing the EF chassis! Definitely get some seat time, if you start wanting to be competitive, that engine won't do it in SMF, cheaper and easier to swap an OE replacement back in. I used to race in SMF class with my old 1990 CRX H23A blue top, it was loads of fun, but without spending a fortune on modifications, it wasn't on par with the top of the class. Here's a helpful link that I found very useful when I was getting started. Autocross to Win (DGs Autocross Secrets) - ATW Home Page
