Default Auto-x CSP question.

I am running CSP in Auto-x. Here is what I have done. Tokico Blue Shocks, Neuspeed Green Springs, Neuspeed 22mm Rear Sway Bar, Neuspeed Front Tower Strut Brace, Urethane Bushings, ACT Stage 2 Clutch. What else do you guys recommend me to do?

I concur. And while the trans is off, add a lightweight flywheel.

Do you have R compound tires yet? If not, get them before you do anything else. 13x8 (or maybe 13x9) wheels with 225/45-13 Hoosiers are probably the best bet if you want to spend the money. But, if you are not in the hunt for a championship, then either of the Kumho choices will save you some money and keep you competitve locally.

For a second I was seriously curious as to why he was in CSP besides maybe the clutch. I finally noticed the user name. Sounds like you've got plenty of money to spend before you are competitive. I hope you are auto-crossing for the fun of it and not to be competitive at this stage in your driving career.

First things first, practice.... you can throw all the money you have at the car, and it doesn't mean you'll be fast.... Now, lets say you've been practicing a lot... Start with some really good tires... Oh, and buy a helmet.. It's nice not having to run around tracking down a loaner... And I would DEFINITELY recommend getting rid of those Tokico Blues... too soft for this type of stuff... you'll blow them within the season..

13" rims if you can find any that will clear your calipers (I don't know of any) and a LSD.

I know for a fact that honda 13" steelies clear, So I'd imagine you wouldn't have any problem with an aftermarket wheel....

Right now I am going to put some tires on my old stock wheels and run on those till I get more money. LSD will be later.

It depends on what your aspirations are. CSP is a very expensive and compeditive class. If you're only concerned with car prep at this point (driving experience implied), throw away your springs and shocks today and call Ground Control. What you have is way too soft. So far the rear bar and bushings are the only thing you've got going for you.

If you're not currently on Hoosiers or Kumho's (I'm guessing not, since you didn't mention it), stop what you're doing and get a set of 13's. A LSD will be mandatory at some point, as well as a complete motor rebuild including a engine management system and ITB's (if you're carbed). If you want to play locally, do whatever you want. If you want to see what it's like "outside of the box", get ready to spend a grip.
