Any idea's on making these MOMO Racing seats more comfy?
They are Momo Rookie seats and the kid that had them before me stripped all the padding off and put a tweed cover on them with a very thin lining of padding.
After about 30minutes of driving around in them the middle of back hurts from my spinal cord hitting against the hard seat.
Any idea's on how to make them tolerable?

the seat really didnt have a lot of padding in the first place. it was nothing more than 1 layer of padded fabric.
and i found my momo start (rookie) seat rather comfortable and good for long rides even.
i used mine daily for a while.

I used to have the rookie and now have the start, which is about the same, and I'm with Tyson. There's really almost no padding to them in the first place, but I like them that way for racing. I'd completely hate it for daily driving. I'm sure an upholstery shop could work up some type of padding to put under the covers, but it'd probably cost more than a couple new seats.

They sell foam at places like jo-anns fabric and Michaels....maybe you could even get snazzy memory foam; buy one of those memory foam pillows and cut 'er up. I'd assume the lumbar is the most uncomfortable area on those seats.

yup lumbar is what kills them. I think the padding just may be a little worn down in there... i guess ill have to whip out my skills in upholstry.
