Alignment Help
I just pulled my Yoko A520s off my Integra and found something that scared me, I've worn the tires down past the steel belts on just the insde edge. Both of my front tires look exactly the same. The car has been lowered with H&R Sport Springs for a number of years now. I've recently had an alignment at the Acura dealer who said that everything was brought into spec with the exception of camber. Is this too much camber? My guess would be too much toe out.
Now here's the real catch...any way to fix this and remain STS legal?
Sorry the picture is so crappy...

I'd beg to differ. The wear isn't over far enough to be camber wear. Have you been rotating the tires. Some Honda products will show toe wear like this if the tires aren't rotated. How "within" spec is the alignment?
possibly rubbing? doesnt look like camber wear because theres no sign of camber wear anywhere else in the tire, it doesnt gradually wear down, its not saw toothed. thos are indications of camber wear. yours just looks like it was rubbing either on the fender or strangely on the inside.

I have to admit that the tires haven't been rotated much this season. Thinking back, I've done two autocross schools (maybe 50 runs each school) and one event on them, plus a few thousand miles since their last rotation. That's a lot of driving without a rotation. I guess I need to get my head out of my **** and figure out why I neglected the tires for so long.
I don't know how in-spec the alignment was (it was done 2 or 3 months ago) as they didn't give me the numbers. The service manager said everything came within factory specs except for the camber, which he said was just slightly negative out of spec.
I don't think it's a rubbing issue since it's the inside of the tire. I didn't see any obvious signs of rubbing when I took the wheels off and examined the suspension components. I didn't check the top of the fender well, however.
So it seems like the concensous might be that there really isn't a problem with the car, just once again the nut behind the wheel.

Too much toe out. Keep in under 1/8" out.

This exact same thing happened to me when I lowered my car without getting an alignment afterwards
Edit: Oh, and they're just about to develop a hole, so I really wouldn't plan on driving hard on them...

definitely caused by excessive toe-out IMO. I had the exact same thing happen after swapping suspensions and not doing an alignment. I had over an inch of toe out! Toasted the tires exactly like yours from one long highway drive. Cording the inside of the tire from too much camber will look more gradual across the tread and cover a greater part of the inside half of the tire in my experience.

Fortunately, it just went down smoothly, letting out a loud hiss. I was able to pull over safely.
..your toe settings. For reference, I run -2 degrees of camber all around w/ 1/32 total toe out up front and 3/32 total toe in on the rear; previous to this I had a farked toe setting by some crack pot shop-I know, I know- had some insane front toe; once corrected the tires are wearing much, much more uniform. Also, just as a general FYI: camber has NOTHING to do w/ inside tire wear; it's all in you toe settings.
