Default 15x8 wheel choices, in5x114.3

Like the title says what are my choices. I know of a few, but I would just like to see what else there is.

I searched but the archived stuff is not working, hope it is all still out there.

Can you guys post usual prices and offsets too? I"m in the search for 15x7 5x114.3 also

There's also TDR team 1 and team 2 (ET 38?). They usually run $130 each

EDIT: Errrr, nevermind, I thought this tread was for 7 inch wide rims, not 8 inch. Sorry for hijacking this thread.

the comp lite in 15x8 is the 'wrong' offset, IIRC.

PM rodney, he has or at least used to have 15x8.5" same lug pattern that he ran at nationals last year.

Those are the RIGHT offset. +30 and +20 (your choice). Wider track!

(roll/ flare your fenders, btw.....)

I was not aware that Kosei K1's were available in 15x8. Where can you get them?

Tire Rack sells them.

It sucks that on their website you HAVE to enter car info and they don't show you lug pattern, offset etc...

You have to have one of their wholesale catalogs.

my understanding is that Volk has discontinued production of 15x8'' TE-37's. I tried to order a set recently and was told this is the case. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Tire Rack has the K1s available in 15x8 (I just phoned), custom machined application for 4x100 (maybe different for 5x114.3). They come in 12, 22 and 32 mm offset, and 6-8 weeks for delivery. $199 each.

good price! but, i would be concerned about weight. my 15x7, +38 is 14.0 lbs even. the 8" wheel will be at least 15, if not 16....

Well I have had the volks and do not really like any of the others.

I do not know if anybody likes these:

I do like them both plus you can get them up to 13" width in 15" diameter. Also any type of finish is avalable, you can also get titanium bolts(not lugs). All for the right price of course, but right now I'm not worried about the price.

Well if you can afford HRE's then by all means......

Have you looked into like Kodiak or the like? Some place that will pretty much make wheels to your specs?

The Kodiak's have a good rep. I just ordered a set of 15x8 for the Miata. Forged, black anodized centers, ultra light weight halves. Should come in at around 11 lbs. I wouldn't use them on the street though.

Those Kodiak 15" FX Black Anodized are pretty nice but for some reason i really like those First HRE's.

I checked the Japanese web site for Kosei and they do not list K-1's in 15x8.

http://www.koseijp.co.jp/engfl/n_p5_k1.htm

They only seem to list the newer TS version of the K-1 as a current 2004 product, and 15x7 is the maximum in a 15" and they only show 4 bolt patterns, and even those are pretty heavy at 6.5 kg or 14.3 lbs. Must be some custom ones in 15x8 that Tirerack had made. Only 5x114.3's are 17".
