Default 15x7 vs 15x8 wheels

we've been running 225/45-15x7's for years now on our 95 Civic hatch. With all the new tires offering a 225/45 I'd like to switch to a 15x8. Who makes a proper fitting wheel? I'm thinking 25et or there abouts. I've looked through Rota's lineup without much luck. Kosei's? 949's?

how much are you pulled/rolled? I was able to fit the TRM 15x8 +20 E30 wheels on my integra and the EM1... EM1 has a DC/EG front subframe and lower suspension.

Kosei and 949 are good options. Volk/Rays makes 8" TE37's and 57DR's. There's also FFD Motorsports.

Konig Makes a cheap, light 15x8. I've got the 15x9 +35 I think. But I'm also running 245/40. :D

The Advanti Storm S1 (or somethin' like that) is affordable and fairly light. Of course, RPF1's.

I run Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s in 15x8 ET35. They're not the lightest wheels but they come in a variety of offsets and they can take a lot of abuse. I run Hoosier R7 225/45R15 and they just fit under the stock fenders of my Prelude.

949Racing makes a really nice 15x8 that is light weight and tough according the miata guys. I second the Kosie and the Advanti for affordability. The Rays TE37 and gram lights are a bit too much money in my eyes to run on the track and risk destroying them. But your budget and idea of too expensive may vary from mine. The Enkie RPF1 is in the middle as far as price between the 949 wheel and the Rays options.

All 15X8 wheels offsets should not affect weight.

Team Dynamics 1.2 pro race 14.5 lbs
949 6UL 11.6 lbs
RPF1 11.3 lbs
Advanti Storm S1 11+ lbs
Te37 10.9 lbs

konig dial ins are 12lbs for a 15x8 and you can find them new for around $100 a rim.

awesome, thanks everyone for the suggestions. whats an ideal offset? our current 15x7's range from 38et to 40et. i'm guessing around 25et? only concern is the rear trailing arm and our brake ducts up front.

15x8 + 35 should fit without hitting the ta or knuckle. +25 and you;ll likely need a healthy fender roll to fit the tire.
