P2R Develops DownPipe for CRZ with 5hp Gain!!!
P2R has just finished development on a P2R Downpipe for the CR-Z!
This down pipe eliminates the second Cat; however, there are no 02 sensors after the Cat, so no need for 02 extensions or anything. Just a simple direct bolt on down pipe.
Down pipe Picked up 5hp Gain and 10 ft lb Tq.
Exhaust sound changed very slightly. Car still had stock exhaust. With aftermarket exhaust , this down pipe will most likely pickup another 2-3 hp.
We didn't feel the need to provide any sound clips, as the exhaust note was so slightly changed, it would be hard to tell.
Note: This will not yield a Check Engine Light.

These will start shipping in the next 10-15 days and are available here for pre-order!

I am not asking to be a smarta$$, I was just wondering what the crz made at the wheels. My first guess would be around 95whp but I have not seen any numbers for Honda's new hybread drivetrains...
Your claiming 5 hp at the crank, since you loose a precentage through the drivetrain, how much hp do you gain at the wheels? For example the k20a3 in the ep3 makes 160 hp at the crank but when you look at whp, it makes about 135 hp at the wheels....soooo If you add 5 hp at the crank you might see 3.5-4hp at the wheels because driveline losses are a precentage not a set number.

This dyno was done to the wheels and yielded a +5.9 hp and +10 ft lbs tq to the wheels. Unfortunately I cannot reference the comparison as it was done in another isolated incident. This dyno comparison on the same day showed the before and after on the same dyno to reference these gains.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions ... but this did yield the gains above to the wheels
